Milk Cream - Biscuit Mini Pie

For the very first time I have made "PIE". I can't believe it... :-) :-)
Since this is the first I didn't want to try the traditional pie....instead I took a shortcut of using biscuits for making crust. The taste of the pie was amazing. :-)

The cooking smell of these pies, filled my house completely & it was there even the next day.

So here comes my not simple but yummy recipe. :-)

Ingredients:

For Milk Cream:

Milk - 3 cups
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Cardamom
Cashews, Almond & Pistachios - chopped

For Biscuit Crust:

Marie Biscuits - 10 nos
Butter - 1/2 cup
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup

Making Method:

To make Milk Cream -

1. Dissolve corn flour in 1/2 cup of warm water & keep it aside.

2. Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. Add condensed milk to it and keep stirring it for 10 -15 mins.

3. Then add the corn flour mixture to the milk and let it cook for 5 more mins.

4. Add cardamom, cashews, almonds & pistachios to it.

5. Rich milk cream is ready.

To make biscuit crust -

1. Grind all the biscuits in the mixer nicely.

2. Add butter & condensed milk to the powdered biscuits. Mix well & make a dough.

3. Then take a tbsp of dough & fill in the cupcake moulds, crimp the edges and shape it up.

4. Bake it in the oven for 10 mins. Take it out from the oven & allow it to cool. Biscuit crust is ready.

5. Now take 2 tbsp of milk cream, fill and spread it on the crust.

6. Milk Cream - Biscuit Mini Pie is ready. Garnish the top of mini pie with hot chocolate designs.

  9. Can I request you take away the word verification while posting - at least for bloggers. It makes it hard for me commenting especially since I mostly on the phone to check blogs :(
