Ingredients:
Dosa batter (add little water to the idli batter to make dosa batter)
Green peas masala

Cooking Method:
1. Heat the dosa tawa. Apply 3 drops of oil & grease the tawa completely.
2. Take a ladle full of dosa batter and pour in the centre of the hot dosa tawa.
3. Then immediately spread the batter into thin round shape. Let it cook for a minute or until dosa becomes golden color. Reduce the flame to medium.
4. Then flip the dosa & let it cook on the other side for a minute.
5. Now take 2-3 tbsp full of cooked green peas masala and place it in the centre of the dosa and fold the dosa.

ReplyDeleteThe eminent Hindi writer, Suryakant Tripathi 'Nirala' on Bengali regionalism (prantiyata) in an essay published in 1925-26:
ReplyDelete---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By contamination from Bengalis, the poison of regionalism (prantiyata ka zahar) had spread all over my veins, but instead of rendering me unconscious in this intoxication, it started to alert me--every minute--to each and every trick of the Bengalis. That was the benefit I got from the Bengalis. I started to get comfortable at seeing through each element of their twisted rhetoric (pecida bat asani se suljha lene laga).

I agree, you do write your articles with passion. I hope you get the time to post for me some time in the future.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
