Super Healthy Breakfast - Made in Fortune Rice Bran Oil

Blogadda has come up with a wonderful healthy, tasty recipe contest with fortune rice bran oil. We need to post our signature recipes in our blog & link blogadda.

Generally I don't cook for my blog...I blog what I cook so thought of posting my breakfast recipes as my signature recipes. But the only difference is I cooked all my breakfast recipes today with " Fortune Rice Bran Oil" and I have to tell this truth that this oil is really amazing. It is very light & absorbs no oil at all. Since the elders ( parents - in-law) at my home are diabetic  we have decided to buy Fortune Rice Bran Oil from now on.

For more information about "Fortune Rice Bran Oil" click here.

Below comes my breakfast recipes, do check & cook with fortune rice bran oil and stay healthy.

1. Drumstick leaves Urad dhal Vadaa/Murungai keerai Methu Vadai/Drumstick leaves Urad dhal Fritters

Ingredients:

Urad dhal - 2 cups
Drumstick leaves - 1/2 cup (cleaned & washed)
Pepper corns - 1 tbsp
Salt
Fortune Rice Bran Oil to frying

Making Method:

1. Soak urad dhal for 2 hrs. Then wash & wet grind it nicely in the mixer until the urad dhal batter becomes fluffy. Add only 1 or 2 tbsp of water while grinding the batter.

***  Adding more water will increase the consistency and vada might absorb more oil while frying.

2. Meanwhile heat atleast 1/2 Ltr of  fortune rice bran oil in the heavy bottom frying pan.

3. When the urad dhal batter is fluffy, transfer the batter from the mixer to a big bowl  & add pepper corns, drumstick leaves & salt.

****if required add green chilies for more spicy. I didn't add chillis for my daughter.

4. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

5. Take little ball size batter, place it on plastic cover/palm, pat it & make a round shape. Give a hole in the centre.

6. Slowly slide it in the hot oil & fry until the vada turns golden color.

7. Healthy Drumstick leaves Urad dhal vada is ready.
