You don't need to cook, bake & fry for Date Chocolate Balls. Just do mixing & make balls in less than 10 mins :-) :-)
Actually this recipe came in Chennai Times, titled as A Date Everday. since I had all the mentioned ingredients in my fridge I just gave a try & it came so nice.....and yummy :-)
**I have adjusted the quantity & garnishing as per my taste.
Here's the recipe for u.
Ingredients:
Marie biscuits - 6 nos
Soft Dates - 1/2 cup ( chopped)
Dessicated coconut - 1/4 cup
Cocoa Powder - 3 tbsp
Condensed Milk -1/4 cup
Milk chocolate - 1 ( Grate it for garnishing)
Making Method:
1. Crush the biscuits nicely using your hands.
2. Deseed the dates & chop them into small pieces.
3. Mix biscuits + dates+ dessicated coconut + cocoa powder + condensed milk nicely in a bowl and make small balls out of it.
4. Roll the date chocolate balls in the grated chocolate & serve.
*** if required refrigerate for 20 mins & serve chilled.
